Hospital Report
Duration: The minimum duration of the programme will be 3 years and the maximum duration allowed to complete the programme will be 6 years. The study period is spread across six semester
Eligibility: A candidate having 5/5.5 years of medical programme from any stream (MBBS, BAMS, BNYS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS) and having completed Yoga Instructor's Course (YIC) from VYASA or S-VYASA university are eligible to apply for the programme
Admission: The new batch for the programme gets admitted in the August semester every year. Eligible candidates need to clear an entrance and interview, which should be announced on the university website from time to time
Attendance: The candidate will be eligible to appear for the semester examination only if he/she has attended 90% of the
theory/ practical classes conducted up to the end of the semester. A candidate with a shortage of attendance would be withheld from appearing for the particular semester examination.
Dissertation work: Dissertation work is a mandatory requirement for completion of the programme. The candidate must propose a synopsis for a clinical research project in yoga by the end of 2nd semester. The dissertation must be submitted by the end of the 4th semester.
Hospital Report: During the programme, candidates will be posted to the university teaching hospitals and other associated hospitals. Presentation of the hospital report is a mandatory criterion for completion of the programme.
